THE COUNCIL’s new chief executive will be unveiled on Wednesday at an extraordinary meeting of the Assembly.
Councillors will be asked to approve the appointment, which the Town Hall said it cannot reveal ahead of the meeting, at Barking Town Hall after 6pm.
David Woods is acting chief executive of Barking and Dagenham Council after Rob Whiteman stood down in May 2010.
