Barking and Dagenham history buffs are set to enjoy a new book on the islands populating the Thames.
Eyots & Aits – Islands of the River Thames, by Miranda Vickers was published by the History Press last week.
The book includes sections on the Isle of Dogs in Docklands and the Thames estuary.
