Police responded to reports a person had been threatened by a man who was in possession of a firearm.
Firearms officers attended the address in Bastable Avenue at about 2.20pm yesterday where they found a weapon and arrested the 19-year-old occupant, who remains in custody.
No shots were fired during the incident and there were no reports of any injuries.
Road closures were put in place for a short time, but have since been lifted.
