A man has appeared in court today on charges of affray and dangerous driving.
Jude Lebaga, 35, of Chelmer Crescent, Barking, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
Police said the charge of dangerous driving related to an alleged road traffic accident at Lodge Avenue, Barking, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
They added the charge of affray related to events surrounding his arrest hours later which saw a heavy police presence in the street and caused roads to be shut off.
