A woman was taken to hospital with a suspected spinal injury after two cars collided in Dagenham.
The victim, thought to be in her 20s, was a passenger in a car being driven by her mother when it collided with another vehicle near Dagenham bus garage in Wood Lane at 1.50pm today.
She was taken by ambulance to Queen’s Hospital in Romford with a suspected spinal injury. Her mother and the male driver of the other car were not hurt.
A section of the road was closed by the fire service for around 40 minutes.
