Chadwell Heath shoppers donate thousands of items as part of food appeal

Generous shoppers donated thousands of food items for families struggling in the economic downturn.

Sainsbury in the High Road, Chadwell Heath, collected around 2,500 products from customers doing their weekly shopping on October 6 and 7.

The items, equivalent to hundreds of meals, will be given to people in need as part of the chain’s annual FareShare appeal.
