Christians will mark the last supper before Jesus’ crucifixion with an evening meal at Dagenham Parish Church.
The 6.30pm passover meal with lamb will go ahead at the church in Crown Street at 6.30pm on April 5, the day before Good Friday, which marks the death of Christ.
