Court: £365 bill for Dagenham man who stole power drill

Stealing a power drill earnt a Dagenham man a court appearance and a £365 bill.

Donovan Myrie, 22, of Lichfield Road, stole the Makita drill, worth £150, on November 5. It belonged to Jack Turner.

Myrie, who appeared before Barkingside magistrates on February 17, was fined £110 and told to pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

He pleaded guilty.
