A hit-and-run driver was ordered to pay £909 when he pleaded guilty to failing to stop at the scene of a Christmas Day crash.
Daniel Hennessey, of Bentry Road, Dagenham, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on February 17 and was told to pay a £385 fine, £400 compensation, £85 court costs and a £39 victim surcharge.
Hennessey, 33, was driving a Vauxhall Astra in Marston Avenue, Dagenham, on December 25, and caused an accident that damaged a Ford Focus and a Nissan Micra.
Eight points were put on his driving licence.
