Chadwell Heath cyclist killed in crash

A cyclist from Chadwell Heath has been killed in a crash on the A127 in Essex.
Police were called to reports of a crash involving a cyclist and a van on the Southend-bound carriageway of the Arterial Road, Wickford, shortly before 8am yesterday (Sunday).
The cyclist, a man aged 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van, a 42-year-old man from Tonbridge, Kent, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage to come forward.
