Acid attack victim Naomi Oni’s alleged attacker has denied throwing the corrosive liquid that left her face scarred, a court heard.
Mary Konye, 21, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday accused of throwing sulphuric acid at Victoria’s Secret worker Naomi, 21, as she walked home from work along Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, in December last year.

She is due to stand trial on January 6 and denies throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to maim or cause grievous bodily harm.
