RESIDENTS are invited to the launch of a photographic exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of the Dagenham Girl Pipers.
The launch will take place from 11am to 4pm this Saturday (October 30), at Valence House Museum, Becontree Avenue, Dagenham.
Admission is free and The Dagenham Girl Pipers will be there between 2.15pm and 3.15pm to perform and take part in a question and answer session.
Many former members now live in Havering and further out into Essex and they are especially urged to come along and meet old friends.
