Police are hunting burglars suspected of threatening residents at a Dagenham home with a gun.
The Met was called to reports of a burglary in Burnham Road shortly before 3.30am on Monday.
Officers think a group of males entered the property before threatening the occupants.
A car key was reported as stolen, later recovered nearby.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
Officers are investigating with no arrests made so far.
