Four men have been charged following the discovery of a multi-million pound cannabis shipment found hidden in a lorry.

Detectives from Kent and Essex have been investigating after drugs with an estimated street value of up to £10.2 million were found hidden beneath packets of rabbit hay in a lorry which was stopped near the Dartford Crossing at around 9am on Thursday, May 12.

They have now charged Andrew Badland, 36, of Porters Avenue in Dagenham; Kevin Howell, 54, of Benskins Lane in Romford; Paul Seabrook, 51, of Kendal Croft in Hornchurch and Antony Morris, 56, of Main Road in Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford; with conspiracy to supply cannabis.

Mr Seabrook has also been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply MDMA.

The men will all appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday, September 26.
