A 36-year-old woman from Dagenham will appear in court this afternoon charged with the murder of her father.
Clair Darbyshire, of Wykeham Green, was charged on Saturday with murdering Brian Darbyshire, 67, at the same address.
She appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey later today.
A murder investigation was launched by the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command after officers were called to the home on Thursday.
A post-mortem examination began on Saturday but police are still awaiting the results of further toxicology tests.
