A leading disability charity is launching a raft of courses for carers as it enters its 60th anniversary year.
DABD in Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham, will give people who care for disabled friends and relatives the chance to gain a better understanding of welfare benefits, medication and manual handling.
The charity formerly known as the Disablement Association of Barking Dagenham provides support to disabled people including wheelchair users.
