A man has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with the death of Shammi Atwal.
Ahmed Shah Hatimi, 30, of Richmond Road, Ilford, was remanded in custody following yesterday’s hearing.
He was charged with manslaughter and commercial robbery at the Glen & Co Cash & Carry in River Road, Barking, on October 14 last year.
Hatimi was remanded in custody and will return to the Old Bailey for a plea and case management hearing on October 16.
