A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car crashed into a parked vehicle last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 10pm after the smash in Longbridge Road, Dagenham, which also took out a traffic island.
No injuries were reported and the car stopped at the scene, close to the junction with Bennetts Castle Lane.
The man was taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. Enquiries continue.
