A man appeared in court charged with attempted rape, sexual assault and two counts of robbery after two women were attacked in public in Dagenham.
Vaidas Erminas was at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with the sexual assault and robbery of a woman in an alley between Gorsebrook Road and Ripple Road, Dagenham on February 3.
The 25-year-old was also charged with the robbery of a woman at the junction of Rectory Road and Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, on February 19 and the attempted rape of the same woman in Goresbrook Park, Dagenham on the same day.
Erminas, of Vincent Road, Dagenham, was remanded in custody and will appear at a preliminary hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on October 26.
