Four people held on suspicion of attacking a New Year’s Eve reveller have been bailed.

Police made the arrests on Thursday after the armed attack left a 17-year-old from Barking with cuts to the head and hand at Tower Gateway DLR.

British Transport Police arrested a 17-year-old boy and three men aged 18 to 22 in dawn raids in Docklands following a CCTV appeal.

A police spokesman said the four had been bailed to February 20 pending further inquiries.
