The emergency services were called to a car crash near Becontree Heath Leisure centre last night.
The police and fire service attended the accident at the junction of Green Lane and Whalebone Lane South at 10.33pm.
No one was hurt in the crash.
It is believed two cars were involved. One of the vehicles was badly damaged and later removed from the road by police.
The scene was cleared by 11.07pm.
