A NOISY neighbour has been fined 2,500 and had all her stereo equipment seized after she repeatedly played loud music.

Emmanuelle Manizan, of Uvedale Road, Dagenham, was convicted at Barking Court on September 10 of five counts of breaching a noise abatement notice.

She was fined 500 for each offence and ordered to pay 439 in costs.

Barking & Dagenham Council’s noise nuisance team gave Manizan a noise abatement notice on July 15, 2009.

Despite the notice there were more complaints.

In January and February this year council noise officers recorded five separate breaches of the notice, some as late as 12.26am.

Barking Court granted the council a warrant to enter Manizan’s property and seize stereo equipment.

On September 3, the council housing team carried out the warrant, seizing nine items including a large stereo system, television set, DVD players and a radio alarm clock.
