A noisy neighbour’s anti-social behaviour has cost him his home.
Hussain Shah Miah, formerly of Oldmead House, Exeter Road, Dagenham, was prosecuted under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 after playing music loudly into the early hours of the day.
The 37-year-old was brought before Barkingside Magistrates’ court on July 29 following four visits by council officers.
Miah, who had his tenancy withdrawn in May, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £320 in costs.
Cllr Laila Butt said: “I hope this tough action sends out a loud and clear message.”
