It has been revealed that the suspects in yesterday’s ‘noxious substance’ attack at Sydney Russell school are all youngsters.
Emergency services were called to the school in Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham, shortly after 2pm.
Three males, now revealed to be aged just 12, 13, and 15, were arrested on suspicion of GBH after reports a “noxious substance” had been used in a fight between students.
Due to their young ages, the trio cannot be named. All three remain in custody this morning. Six victims were treated for injuries, and three were taken to a hospital in north-east London for further treatment. Two of them have since been discharged.
Enquiries continue.
