A man is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday in connection with the death of Shammi Atwal.
Ahmed Shah Hatimi, 30, of Richmond Road, Ilford, is charged with manslaughter and commercial robbery at the Glen & Co Cash & Carry in River Road, Barking on October 14 last year.
He is expected to attend a preliminary hearing at the Central Criminal Court.
