A public meeting is to be held after an investigation into local hospital services and a review of the proposed changes at King George Hospital in Goodmayes.

The Care Quality Commission investigated services provided by the Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust earlier this year.

The event will be held at 5.30pm on Tuesday September 13 in the Lecture Theatre at Queen’s Hospital in Rom Valley Way, Romford.

There will be a presentation on the IRP review into King George services, which could lead to the closure of A&E and maternity units.

People are invited to put any questions to the Trust board, and can expect open and honest answers.
