Rail foundation to give support to Barking and Dagenham students

A rail company has launched a �500,000 foundation to give financial support to deprived students.

Institutions like the University of East London and Barking and Dagenham College could receive �10,000 each year through the scheme unveiled by c2c last week.

The funding will be used to allocate living cost bursaries to students with challenging financial and personal circumstances.
