A second woman has appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with the murder of eight-year-old Ayesha Ali.
Kiki Muddar, 41, of Green Lane, Ilford, was remanded in custody until her next appearing at the same court on December 23.
Ayesha was found by paramedics with a head injury on August 29 at her home in Bedwell Court, Broomfield Road, Chadwell Heath.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ayesha’s mother Polly Chowdhury, 34, has also been charged with her daughter’s murder and will appear at the Old Bailey on November 19.
