Police are currently at the scene of a stabbing in Barking town centre.
The victim, who is thought to be in his teens, was knifed in East Street/Station Parade, just after 6pm.
He was rushed to hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
There are road closures in the area.
There have been no arrests and anyone with information or who witnessed the attack should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
