Three patients have been rushed to hospital after reports of an acid attack at a school this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Sydney Russell School in Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham, shortly after 2pm, where ambulance crews treated six patients for injuries. Three were taken to a hospital in north-east London for further treatment.

Three males were arrested on suspicion of GBH after reports of a fight breaking out between students involving a “noxious substance”. They were taken to an east London police station, where they remain in custody.
