A woman and two teenagers have been jailed over the death of a Dagenham man.
Danielle Russell, 26, and two boys aged 16 and 17 were sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court last Thursday having previously been found guilty of manslaughter.
The trio were also found guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit GBH.
Anton Levin, 24, was found stabbed at Russell’s home in St Anns Road, Southend, on November 19 last year.
Russell was handed 11 years and six months for manslaughter and eight years for each of the two other charges, to run concurrently.
The 16-year-old from Thurrock and the 17-year-old from Basildon, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, were each sentenced to for ten years and four months for manslaughter, with a five year extended licence upon release.
They were also handed a further eight years for conspiracy to commit GBH and six for conspiracy to commit robbery, each with an extended four year licence and to run concurrently.
DCI Simon Werrett said: “This was another unnecessary death linked to gang activity in Essex.
“These defendants have never any shown remorse for the attack and the needless loss of life.
“I am pleased they have been given lengthy custodial sentences taking them off the streets of Essex. Hopefully Mr Levin’s family can now move on with their lives.”
