A children’s play area has been closed following vandalism.
The swings and other play equipment will be out of bounds in Goresbrook Park in Dagenham until repairs are carried out.
A council spokesman said a routine inspection at the Dagenham Avenue park this morning alerted them to the issue.
He added that they hope to complete repairs as soon as possible.
