The winner of almost £200,000 pounds in EuroMillions prize money, who bought their ticket in Barking and Dagenham almost three months ago, has claimed their prize.

The National Lottery appealed for the winner to come forward after the draw on November 16 but the £160,871 remained unclaimed until now.

It is not yet known if the lucky person will go public.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.

“It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-enhancing amount of money.”
