THREE Dagenham brothers have been bailed over an alleged car crash scam thought to have run into tens of thousands of pounds.

PCSO Milad Hussain, 23, Dilwar Hussain, 21, and Iqbal Hussain, 26, all of Mayesbrook Road, were part of an 11-strong group allegedly behind car crash insurance claims.

Mohammed Ilias, 20, of Halsham Crescent, Barking, is one of the 11 charged over the alleged scam.

Milad Hussain worked at Belgravia Police Station but has been suspended without pay, the Met said on Monday.

The 11 appeared in custody before Westminster magistrates on October 26 and have all been bailed to Soutwark Crown Court on December 18.

Milad Hussain and Mohammed Ilias are charged with fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud. All the others are charged with conspiracy to commit fraud.

They are Dilwar and Iqbal Hussain, Kosru Miah, 25, of Abercorn Gardens, Romford, Mafizul Islam, 40, of Rosefield Gardens, Poplar, and Injad Miah, 24, Noor Ahmed, 22, and Sanu Ahmed, 29, all of Tiller Road, Canary Wharf.
