COUNCIL bosses have done right to congratulate boxer Kevin Mitchell he really did well with his two round victory of Ignacio Mendoza on February 13. The lad is on his way to the top, his future is paved with gold.
Also I fully endorse the sentiments of Ben Tadis about The Ultimate Boxing Quiz Book by Ralph Oates it is really good.
It can only be a matter of time before television sports bosses discovers Mr Oates.
Also Mr Tadis commented about Steve Holdsworth the Eurosport television commentator who praised Mr Oates book on the cover, Mr Tadis is right Steve was a good fighter.
This guy gave value, I watched him fight a couple of times and felt that he could have been a champion he had all the heart in the world and his Eurosport show is great.
Well done to your paper for keeping us boxing fans up with the fight action, boxing fans get a poor deal from most of the media in general.
Also someone should give Len Whaley a medal. OK That's it from me.
