A fishing shop which has stayed afloat for more than 40 years is set to shut.
Bowlers Angling, in Cinema Parade, Dagenham, is closing next week as its owner is retiring.
A visit to the store was named as one of the top seven things to do in Dagenham before you die by blogger Martin Ives last year.
He had commended the store for remaining open as many other business owners chose to make the move online.
