A 24-year-old from Dagenham has been charged with wounding after a car chase ended in a volunteer police officer receiving a fractured skull.
James Ward, of The Chase, was remanded in court on Saturday, August 30, after he was charged at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
The Romford police community support officer (PCSO) was taken to hospital following the incident, which took place in the car park of the Oak pub in South Street, Romford.
