Urban photographer Danny Seaton has won a major UK competition judged by London music star Dizzie Rascal.

Danny, 29, captured the scene, juxtaposing a police tape with a graffiti littered wall, in a Dagenham underpass.

Danny, of Beverley Road, Dagenham, said: “While the police tape signifies how gritty my area can be, I love how the vibrant graffiti in the background works to underpin how much creative talent there is on the streets at the same time.

“No other city I’ve been to has such a great juxtaposition. This is why I love Britain.”

Danny beat more than 8,500 entries to win the Bing search engine competition’s Urban Britain category on July 12.

The contest was judged by a panel including a national newspaper picture editor and the award-winning grime star.
