CHAOS was caused when a large water main burst, leaving residents of Dagenham without water for most of Friday.
Wood Lane and Beverley Road, Dagenham, were practically under water on Friday, July 31, leaving the whole area sectioned off. Cars were abandoned as the water rose to dangerous levels.
"I couldn't believe it when I opened the door this morning. It looked like there was a river flowing past my home," said resident, Myra Whiskar.
