A trip to compete in Stevenage has seen Robert Clack School return to Dagenham with not one but two trophies for their efforts.

The Green Lane school’s entry in the Be Your Best Rock Challenge didn’t win top prize, but the talented pupils were presented with awards of excellence in choreography and entertainment for their effort.

It was the first year Robert Clack students have taken part in the initiative, which sees a team of performers, stage and support crew from schools across the UK choreograph a dance and drama performance.

The students also record their soundtrack and design and make their sets and costumes before performing in front of a 500-strong audience.
