A determined fundraiser hiked, canoed and cycled his way through a Welsh mountain range to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sean Harnwell, who works for City Plumbing Supplies on Sterling Industrial Estate, Rainham Road South, Dagenham, signed up for the Brave the Brecon Beacons challenge on September 6.

He faced the gruelling task of canoeing along a reservoir, a 30km bike ride and orienteering to the top of mountains in support of the charity.

City Plumbing Supplies began its two-year partnership with the trust in January and Sean has helped to raise more than £8,000 so far.

He said: “I wanted to do something a bit adventurous to raise as much money as possible.”
