DAGENHAM star Stacey Solomon is through to the next round of X-Factor, after impressing the judges with another "terrific" performance.

The 20-year-old, whose popularity continues to soar, took to the stage last Saturday with Keane's, Somewhere Only We Know.

After being criticised by Simon Cowell last week for not moving during her act, Stacey made sure to combine her singing with a bit of walking this time.

"She can walk, she can move!" shouted Dannii Minogue at the end of the song, adding: "I loved the performance."

Simon said: "I thought it was a good choice of song, I think it made you relevant. I thought it was terrific. One of your best performances."

Cheryl Cole told the single mum she needed to inject a bit more personality into her act.

"The thing we love most about you is your personality and I want to see more of that. A bit more personality in your song and you're swimming."

Music mogul, Louis Walsh described Stacey "as the most popular girl" in the contest. "Everywhere I go people love you", he said.

Stacey, of Western Avenue, survived the public vote and will return to compete against the remaining seven acts this Saturday.

To catch her next performance and to vote tune into ITV from 8pm.

Post readers can get free 'Vote for Stacey' posters at Kid's Kingdom in Wood Lane and tomorrow (Thursday) when you buy the paper at Morrison's in Dagenham.
