Daggers are beaten at home again as Northampton Town emerge with all three points

FULL TIME

Daggers defeated here, its been an evenly-fought battle, but that moment of class from Johnson was enough for victory.

Rodgers on for Cobblers now, and sprints into his position.

Phil Walsh makes his debut - on in place of Nurse.

That was some finish from the full back but somehow Daggers arent level as Dunn has just made a stunning save from Gain.

GOALFLASH - John Johnson nets a screamer to put Town 1-0 ahead

Currie off for Danny Green now.

Gain and Beckwith in the book now and the way Gain is going, he needs to keep his mouth shut from now on.

Scott on now as Thomas is off, while Dunn just made a fantastic save from Nurse, but doesnt get the credit as the ref gives a goalkick.

57MINS: Break in play here as a Cobblers defender gets treatment. Daggers forcing plenty of corners now, but as yet, Currie's delivery has been poor .

50MINS: Brighter start to the second half as Thomas puts one wide as does Holt. Theres a nasty wind around the pressbox too so we could do with something to write about.

Here we go again then.

HALF TIME Both sides are goalless and it has been plenty of endeavour, but little quality at the moment. Here's to the deadlock broken in the second half.

42MINS: Better for Daggers now as they are getting more and more crosses into the box. Thomas has had two shouts for penalties, neither which looked likely to be honest.

Heres hoping they keep a clean sheet before half time unlike the last time out against Notts County.

34MINS: Roberts holds on to a header, while Nurse flicks a header wide of the target, but there has been a lack of any real goalmouth action so far.

Gain is snapping into some tackles, but Thomas hasnt really had much affect upfront yet.

McCrory showing similarities towards a certain Scott Griffiths here which can only bode well.

Gilbert clatters into Ogogo just then, but after a handshake and some treatment, both players are fit to continue.

23MINS: Ball spending too much time out of play here for my liking, as Thomas looks like he has picked up a slight knock, but will be hoping to run it off.

Pack and McCrory are having decent games so far, Pack looks fitter too and is obviously enjoying playing alongside Gain.

Guttridge is well off target there - no keeper unduly troubled as of yet.

13MINS: Thomas almost beat the offside trap a moment ago, after fine work by Arber, but the flag was off.

Very even so far, but McCrory is looking solid so far with Currie impressive on the ball, but Nurse has yet to have an impact.

Early moments of the game - good start from both sides and an excellent turnout by the visiting fans too, must be 1,000 of them here .

Akinfenwa is somthing of a unit upfront for the Cobblers, Arber and Doe will have their work cut out today.

Teams are out now and Daggers have kicked off, here we go.
