80MINS - DAGGERS 0 MORECAMBE 2

Its more or less all Daggers at the moment as Roche denies Griffiths from inside the box, but they just cant buy a goal at the moment.

10 minutes left for the hosts to avoid defeat, can they do it?!

Better, much better for Daggers as Ritchie had an effort well saved after some lovely skill by Guy, and then Roche got in to clear just ahead of Strevens.

At the other end though, Curtis went through Magnus like he wasnt there, but Roberts was out well to save with his legs.

If Daggers could pull one back, this might be interesting, but its a big if!!

Ironic cheers as Guy forces a save from Roche, but it was straight at him.

Its getting better for the hosts as they are starting threaten and forcing a number of corners, but Morecambe are holding solidly at the moment.

Daggers force a corner to applause from their home support, they're going to need more of that this half if they are going to get something from this game.

HALF TIME - DAGGERS 0 MORECAMBE 2

Im afraid this has been shocking from Daggers.

The half was summed up just then when Loft was put through by Guy, but with loads of time, his shot went out of play for a throw on!

Surely the second half cant be as bad as this, please....

Daggers are at least showing a modicum of intent here, and forced a free kick, which was blasted straight at the wall by Ritchie.

Not much else to report though as Roberts kicking is still getting caught in the wind or going out, and there need to be changes made at the break, but that was also the case on Tuesday evening!

Mmm, things just are not looking good for the hosts here.

Most amusing moment of the half happened just then though as Curtis fired a shot from distance that was well wide and a fan, rather than catch it, headed it up and out of the ground!

Made me laugh anyway.

As for the action, Daggers have yet to test Roche, who couldnt have wished for a more comfortable afternoon so far.

Oh dear, oh dear.

First, O'Carroll rises above the defence to head home McStay's free kick, and then Drummond volleyed a deflected effort past Roberts from the edge of the box.

A truly horrific start to the game and you have to wonder whether there is a way back into the match for Daggers despite only 17 minute gone!

Tidy start from the visitors here, but nothing to frighten Roberts in goal just yet.

Signs of a good understanding between Guy and Strevens so far and Strevens almost got a shot away, but he dallied and got challenged.

Lets just hope that this turns out to be far better than Tuesday nights offering!
