Daggers pick up another home win with a fine 2-1 victory over Bradford

FULL TIME Another three points for Daggers today then and it has been a fine performance from the side.

This is definitely one of the most impressive performances from the team this season as they have beaten a good Bradford outfit.

Ogogo was outstanding today, and with the likes of Spiller and Scott missing, there is strength in depth in this Daggers squad now.

Last throw of the dice for City as Clarke is on for Williams, while Doe has come on for Griffiths too.

85MINS: Both sides are still going for goals here as Daggers dont know how to play defensive football, and thats a credit to them.

The hosts are threatening more than City too, as they are breaking with pace and could well make this safe if they pick the right pass.

GOALFLASH - Ogogo has made it 2-1 here with his first goal for the club!

I dont think there is a more deserving player to score that goal as he slid in bravely to turn the ball home after good work by Benson and then Nurse - the game is really coming alive now!

65MINS: Chances at both ends here as Roberts saved bravely from Ramsden, before Eastwood came haring out to block from Nurse.

City fans getting irate at some decisions here, as the ref blews up for a challenge on Roberts, it could get quite spicy here with 25mins left.

Bradford change here as Brandon replaces Jamie O'Brien

58MINS: So close for Daggers there as Green thunders a shot against the bar after good work by Nurse.

Crowd is 2,436 with 424 away fans - a fine effort from home supporters today.

50MINS: Good natured banter from the away fans here, singing songs in a London accent, and the roof is playing its part to create a much better atmosphere, long may it continue.

On the pitch, TJ has put a volley at the keeper, while Antwi headed wide, before McCall showed excellent control on the sidelines, with his behind it must be said!

We're underway here in the second half and Eastwood has had to make a fine save from his own defender, turning Williams header behind for a corner.

HALF TIME: All square here and it was a decent half that Bradford definitely edged towards the end.

Daggers had to do plenty of defending at the death, with Ogogo and Arber doing particularly well. More in a bit.

40MINS: Off the pitch, the firebrigade are now here to tackle that small blaze, which has already been put out!

Anyway, back to the football and Evans put two efforts wide for the visitors, while Ogogo showed his pace to haul in the striker and make a fine sliding challenge.

Very much a midfield battle at the moment, and its an intriguing game.

As if things couldnt get more bizarre here, there is now a fire in the home end on one of the roofs, but its just been put out - this is a strange game all round today.

After Ogogos fine run, its now Arbers turn as he beats two players before finding Nurse on the wing, flair from Daggers centre half there!

30MINS: Very even here now as Evans volleys wide wh

Daggers havent quite got that pen miss out of their system just yet.

Ogogo did go on a fine overlapping run but couldnt get his cross in, while City are getting a foothold in midfield now, interesting spell before the break this.

20MINS: Well, well, well - what a few minutes here.

Bradford levelled with a glorious volley from Flynn after Roberts punched the ball up rather than out - and then Nurse went down in the box, a penalty was given, but Benson shanked it horribly over the bar - a terrible effort!

Before the kick, Benson was getting plenty of words from Flynn, whether that played on his mind I dont know, but it was a shocking attempt!

Bradford are level, but Daggers have a penalty!

15MINS: Power is back on now, so that should allay any fears about the game being covered.

Daggers are looking good here, attacking very quickly and a wonderful move with Green and Thurgood ended with Benson heading wastefully wide.

Roberts had to make a wonderful save from O'Brien too as Bradford look to fight back in this one.

Good news is the floodlights are on here, so the game probably wont be in doubt, but with all the laptops and radio on batteries here, people might not find out the result for a while!

GOALFLASH - Paul Benson has opened the scoring with a close range finish

It was a decent corner from Green, but City keeper Eastwood didnt really cover himself in glory as Griffiths hooked the ball back and Benson smashed home - he couldnt miss, but will be delighted to get his first goal for a good few weeks.

5MINS: Quiet start here it must be said at the moment, though Daggers and wide are looking to get it forward and wide whenever possible.

TJ has had a shot blocked, while Benson is looking sharp and hoping to end a slight drought in front of goal today.

Daggers look like theyre lining up with TJ in the middle of midfield and Gain on the left - Nurse has partnered Benson upfront as was expected.

And we're underway here!

Slightly worrying here as there is a power cut in the ground and there is no power in the press area at all.

The game can obviously start, but if the lights are needed, then in the current conditions, this game will be called off!

I'd like to say this is unusual, but after last season's shenanigans, them Im afraid it really isnt.

Just watching the officials indulge in some footie training before they start, very unusual, lets hope their decision-making is better than their ball skills though, as they were slightly shabby!

Good afternoon and welcome to Victoria Road for todays clash between Daggers and Bradford City.

Daggers have been thrust into two changes as Tommy Tejan-Sie and Jon Nurse both start in place of Josh Scott and Danny Spiller.

We're unsure yet as to who is playing upfront, but its most likely to be Nurse with TJ on the left.

On the bench is Steven Demetriou too, as Wes Thomas hasn't made it, which is a shame for the striker as he would have hoped to take Scotts place.

Daggers: Tony Roberts, Abu Ogogo, Scott Griffiths, Mark Arber, Will Antwi, Danny Green, Peter Gain, Stuart Thurgood, Tommy Tejan-Sie, Paul Benson, Jon Nurse.

Subs: Chris Lewington, Scott Doe, Steven Demetriou, Graeme Montgomery, Billy Bingham, Harlee Dean.

Bradford: Simon Eastwood, Simon Ramsden, Luke O'Brien, Michael Flynn, Zesh Rehman, Lee Bullock, Gareth Evans, Steve Williams, James Hanson, Jamie O'Brien, Scott Neilson.

Subs: Jon McLaughlin, Matthew Clarke, Chris Brandon, Jonathan Bateson, Leon Osborne, Luke Sharry.
