A Paul Benson stunner sees Daggers take all three points against Chesterfield

COCA-COLA LEAGUE TWO

Daggers 2 Chesterfield 1

by MIKE SIMMONDS

A stunning goal from Paul Benson ensured Daggers maintained their 100 per cent record at Victoria Road this afternoon.

With 48 minutes on the clock, Benson chested down Kevin Austin's header, turned and volleyed into the top corner of the net from the edge of the box.

It was a truly superb goal, and was well worth winning any game of football.

Daggers deserved their triumph too, as Will Antwi gave them the lead after 25 minutes, heading home his first goal for the club.

Chesterfield substitute Donal McDermott pulled one back late on, but it wasn't enough, and the result put Daggers back up to second in the table once more.
