Daggers come from behind to defeat Macclesfield 3-1

ANOTHER BEAUTY - DANNY GREEN HITS THE THIRD

FULL TIME

That was some team goal, Benson found Green, his first-time cross was volleyed in by Abu Ogogo breaking forward, excellent strike and Daggers lead.

STUNNER - ABU OGOGO MAKES IT 2-1

Folly hit the bar, Doe put the ball back and Green found the bottom corner, but Daggers could be in the lead as Brain saved a Benson one-on-one.

Benson thought he had put Daggers 2-1 up just then, after amazing work from Scott, but the ref ruled it out for handball.

The fans are definitely getting their moneys worth today.

1-1 DANNY GREEN EQUALISES

Second half underway now, Daggers deserve something from this, they have been excellent at times, but just can't seem to score.

Macc look dangerous too, so hopefully, we have a pulsating second half upon us.

Benson shot over there, his first real sight of goal at home in recent games, but this is a cracking end to end match, and Daggers will fancy their chances of getting back into this.

That was some strike from Bell, though Roberts might have got more of his body behind it, though it did come through a crowd.

Gain and Brisley are both in the book after some ridiculous argy bargy, all very childish.

Daggers 0 Macc 1 - Lee Bell volleys in from fully 40 yards to put the visitors in front

20MINS: Somehow Daggers arent ahead here as Gain slides in but fails to connect with the goal gaping, a poor miss from the recalled midfielder. Wonder what a certain Mr Nurse thinks on the bench.

Gain then sets up Benson with a lovely cross, but Brain punches it over, flying through the air for no real reason either.

Atmosphere starting to build now.

All action here, Scott's header spectacularly cleared off the line by Draper, while Arber has headed over.

Macc look dangerous too, Lindfield forcing a fine save from Roberts, and Wright knocking the rebound over the top.

5MINS: Daggers clearly look up for this in front of such a crowd.

Wonderful ball from Pack there, led to Scott pulling the ball across goal just beyond the diving Benson. Good start.

Teams are out now, and it looks like the sieve is packed, while ther eis a good smattering of fans in the home (away) end too, here we go!

Good afternoon and welcome to Victoria Road for what promises to be a cracking match today.

On the footballing side of things, Daggers have made one change, bringing in Peter Gain for Jon Nurse.
