COCA-COLA LEAGUE TWO

Rochdale 3 Dagenham & Redbridge 1

DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE conceded two goals in the final seven minutes as they went down at league leaders Rochdale this afternoon.

With 83 minutes on the clock and the scores 1-1, it looked like Daggers would escape with a point, but Gary Jones put Dale ahead, and then Chris O'Grady sealed victory in injury time.

Prior to the late goals, Temitope Obadeyi had put the hosts in front early on, only for Josh Scott to level moments later.

Regular strike partner Paul Benson missed the game with a stomach virus, so Jon Nurse took his place upfront, while manager John Still didn't travel with the squad as he is going into hospital again this week.

The result drops Daggers five points away from the play-offs, but they have already played two games more then seventh-placed Notts County.

Daggers: Tony Roberts, Abu Ogogo, Damien McCrory, Mark Arber, Scott Doe, Danny Green, Marlon Pack, Peter Gain, Graeme Montgomery (Wes Thomas 61), Josh Scott, Jon Nurse (Romain Vincelot 75).

Subs not used: Chris Lewington, Anwar Uddin, Darren Currie, Danny Spiller, Phil Walsh.

Attendance: 3,153.
