A LATE own goal from defender Luke Oliver saw Dagenham & Redbridge earn a point in a thrilling clash with Bradford City this afternoon.

Daggers had trailed 2-0 and 3-2, but with time running out, Oliver dived to head Jon Nurse's cross past his own keeper.

A point had looked beyond the visitors when they went 2-0 down to headers from James Hanson, as the striker nodded in dead ball deliveries from Robbie Threlfall after the second and 67th minute.

But despite Josh Scott missing an open goal, the introduction of Nurse midway through the half changed things as the substitute was magnificent.

First, he rifled the ball into the top corner from close range on 69 minutes and then on 75 minutes, his header from Green's free kick deflected into the net off Steve Williams for an own goal.

The Bantams thought they had grabbed victory when Hull City loanee Ryan Kendall lofted a long ball over Tony Roberts, but Daggers hit back late on to take a share of the spoils.

They could have won it too, but Paul Benson headed narrowly over and then Phil Walsh's low drive was saved by Matthew Glennon.

Daggers: Tony Roberts, Abu Ogogo, Damien McCrory, Scott Doe, Mark Arber, Danny Green (Darren Currie 90), Marlon Pack, Yoann Folly (Jon Nurse 65), Peter Gain, Paul Benson, Josh Scott (Phil Walsh 83).

Booked: Ogogo.

Subs not used: Chris Lewington, Anwar Uddin, Graeme Montgomery, Tommy Tejan-Sie.

Attendance: 11,064 (inc 100 Daggers)
