DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE slipped to 10 points behind leaders Rochdale after the table-toppers eased to a 4-0 home victory over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
With Daggers not in action after their trip to Rotherham was called off, Dale took the chance to extend their lead thanks to doubles from Craig Dawson and Chris O'Grady.
John Still's side remain fourth in the table, two points off automatic promotion and travel to struggling Northampton Town on Boxing Day
